OUR HISTORY
Vito’s BBQ began in April 2020, in the heart of Quezon City, inside a humble family home. At the height of lockdown, spouses Mike and Karlene Pelayo started sharing their family’s secret BBQ recipes with close friends and loved ones — simply as a way to stay connected during uncertain times. What started as intimate home-cooked meals quickly turned into something more. As word spread and orders poured in, the demand grew beyond their circle. On May 15, 2020, Vito’s BBQ officially sold its first batch to the public — marking the beginning of a brand built on flavor, quality, and consistency.
Named after their firstborn son, Vito’s BBQ carries a playful and family-oriented spirit. From the store interiors to the packaging details, the brand draws inspiration from Vito’s favorite toys and hobbies — giving every branch a warm, youthful, and welcoming personality. With a rapidly growing customer base and overwhelming support, Vito’s BBQ opened its first physical branch on September 17, 2020, at the Ronac Art Center in San Juan.
Today, what was once a family secret continues to grow into a beloved brand — sharing its signature flavors, heartfelt story, and commitment to quality with more communities every year.
